Lives Not Knives

The Easter Programme

We have designed an Easter programme with fun outdoor activities such as football, rounders and basketball that are all COVID friendly. The activities will take place at Park Hill or Wandle Park in Croydon between 12pm – 4pm and all young people will be given a drink and a warm meal. This programme allows our staff to mentor and support young people over the Easter, as well as get them involved in fun activities so they can stay fit and make friends. Please click and register interest and we will be in contact regarding the start date!

Letter’s to Loved Ones: Valentine’s Day Campaign

This campaign is dedicated to spreading the message of love whilst raising awareness of the impacts that knife crime and violence has on individual lives. Through sharing these stories, we aimed to diversify the current narrative that knife crime is solely a youth issue experienced by a certain demographic. With the support of our community behind us, we hope to collectively plan for the future and bring about real change for all!

Our work

Lives Not Knives is an innovative, award winning, youth-led charity that works to prevent knife crime, serious youth violence and school exclusions by engaging, educating and empowering disadvantaged young people and supporting them to enjoy their lives and improve their future prospects. We offer a unique strategy that centres around personal one-to-one mentoring with 9-14 year olds, educational school roadshows, a fun after school club and a free summer programme of activities so that all the young people we work with can overcome adversity and transform their lives.
